Most profitable items
Every item you can sell in your shop, with its sell price, what one machine's output is worth per minute, and an estimate of the value it adds over its ingredients. Sort by any column and filter by shelf or tier.
Data from v1.0.4962 · updated Profit & sell value table
48 sellable itemsNumbers are per machine at base speed. “Added” columns are estimates (sell value minus ingredient value). Prices are base prices, before Shop Recognition bonuses.

How we calculate
- Sellable means the item has a shop shelf type (Groceries, Remedies, Jewelry, Beverages or Relics). Items marked unsellable in the game files are left out.
- Sell value is the item's base value from the game files, which is the shop price before bonuses. The data does not confirm this for every item, so treat it as the base price.
- Per minute uses the item's main recipe on its first machine at base speed, without Factory Efficiency or other upgrades.
- Value added subtracts the ingredients at their Purchasing Portal price when buyable, otherwise at base value, and adds side and fail products at base value. Heat, fuel and build costs are not included.
- Cauldron products (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald) accept any three ingredients, so their value added shows “any inputs”. See the cauldron finder for cheap combinations.
- Relics (Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Luna, Sol) are bulk items in the game files. Their value is shown as stored, per item; whether the shop applies it per item or per portion is not verified.
Shop Recognition bonuses
Shop Recognitions (1.0) raise profit for one shelf type per level. They are not included in the table above. The buff per level comes from the game's upgrade data; how levels combine is not stated in the data. Requirements and prices are on the tech tree page.

Profit FAQ
What is the most profitable item in Alchemy Factory?
At base speed and before Shop Recognition bonuses, Crown adds the most value per machine: about 20g 44s per minute on one Advanced Assembler, after subtracting what its ingredients are worth. Sorting by sell value instead puts Sol first (445g each).
What should I sell early in the game?
Among items available by tier 3, Whispering Fields adds the most per machine-minute (about 2s 40c on one Brew Barrel). Use the tier filter to see what you can sell at your stage.
How is “value added” calculated?
Value added per minute = what one machine's output sells for, plus its byproducts at base value, minus what its ingredients are worth (their Purchasing Portal price when they can be bought, otherwise their base value). It is an estimate at base speed with no upgrades, before Shop Recognition and contract bonuses, and it does not count heat, fuel or the cost of building the machine.
Why do some items show a negative value added?
A negative number means the ingredients are worth more than the product at base prices, so selling the ingredients directly earns more per batch. 6 items are negative in the current data, e.g. Jupiter, Copper Bearing, Mars. Shop Recognition bonuses, unsellable ingredients and shelf demand can still make them worthwhile.
